Off to Blackpool

Sorry to post and run, but Alex and I are off for a long weekend to Blackpool.  It’s the northwest of England (almost in Scotland), and sits along the coast. As a historic British seaside town, Blackpool is the number 1 tourist destination for locals, but that’s a claim I’m not sure I believe.  The weather is supposed to be cold and rainy (well, duh, it’s England in November, what did you expect?) but I am really looking forward to it, nonetheless. We both desperately need a relaxing break!  We’re not taking cell phones or blackberries or laptops, so you won’t be able to reach us, but don’t worry!  We’re relaxing, sleeping in, and enjoying a nice break from the chaos.  We’ll be back in touch next week.  Have a good Guy Fawkes Day, everyone!

  1. Sounds like the North West of England is going to get the best of the weather this weekend – for a change! Have a great time!
