My pretty fan!

Alex brought back a really beautiful blue fan from Tokyo for me. It’s got two plums on the front, and is quite lovely.  He also brought back this fan, and I think you can guess why. It’s got a train on the front!  Apparently the people in Japan with whom he was meeting handed these out during the day-long session. The building doesn’t have A/C (or Air-Con as it’s called here in the UK), and they wanted to keep everyone cool. I think it’s a great idea. Instead of handing out an endless number of pens or notepads, how about a fan?

  1. I’m nejoying your reactions to London. If you like fans, you might enjoy a visit to the Fan Museum in Greenwich (they do a reasonable cream tea as well).
