Where are you putting those birds?

So the British sometimes have different names for items of clothing, but you can usually figure them out.  A sweater (US)  is really a cardi (UK).  Pants (US) become trousers (UK).  Underpants (US) are just plain old pants (UK).

But this is the funniest one I have yet come across.  I’m sure you’re familiar with that unfortunate men’s swim-attire known as the Speedo….  and I’m sure you know that in the US it is commonly referred to as a banana hammock….   well, here in the UK, they call them budgie smugglers!   And apparently they are back in style!
