The bookshelf

We decided to get a bookshelf, mostly because it’s unavoidable that I will (even though I’m trying really hard not to) acquire some books. I finally got it assembled this afternoon, and put our still-manageably-small collection in. But surprise!  Guess who wants to be classified in the Dewey Decimal System!

It was only up for about 5 minutes before Amaretto claimed the bottom shelf.

  1. Speaking of the Dewey Decimal System, I have a related question for you. Maybe you can do a post about it sometime. What’s the public library situation in the UK? Do they have them? Are they competitive with US public libraries? Better? Worse? Inquiring minds want to know! At least one mind, anyway…

  2. Good to know that your hard work is appreciated! Looks quite cozy. Valerie

  3. I like the contents of the second to last shelf. 🙂
